Website Kurrajong Therapy Plus
Kurrajong Therapy Plus has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Educator to join our team in Wagga Wagga working 4-5 days per week on a 12-month fixed term contract with potential for this to be extended further. The successful applicant will join our multidisciplinary team to provide valuable education to children with disabilities.
As a valued member of our education team you will support the family, early childhood services, schools and the community to provide appropriate learning experiences and opportunities for each child to have a strong sense of identity, be connected to and contribute to their world, have a strong sense of wellbeing, be confident and involved learners, and be effective communicators.
The Educator will deliver under three programs – the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the Children and Parenting Support Services (DSS Program) and the Sector Capacity Building Program (NSW Department of Education).

A relevant university qualification in Early Childhood/Primary Education
Current Class C Drivers Licence
Working with Children Check Clearance
National Police History Check for Aged/Children/Disabled/Vulnerable (conducted by Kurrajong)
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families
Understanding of Family Centred Practice
Experience in working in a team and with other disciplines
Committed to inclusive practices
Ability to liaise with other service providers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
