We are looking for Occupational Therapists (New Grads/Supoervisors) that have a high level of energy and enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and their families which enable them to lead meaningful and inclusive lives in their community.
The Fit Kidz Foundation Centre is a community based, not-for-profit organisation in The Hills District, NSW which was established to support children with developmental delays, their families, and the wider community. At the Fit Kidz Foundation we offer a wide range of early intervention programs tailored to meet the needs of families’ and our community.

About this Role
As a member of our professional transdisciplinary team, within a ‘strengths based’ and family centred framework, you will be involved in our Individualised Programs, Group-Based Programs along with being provided with opportunities to deliver professional development within community. Our programs are flexible and individualised to meet the needs and priorities of the child and family. Your responsibilities will include increasing the capacity of families/carers and mainstream service providers to ensure children are participating meaningfully in inclusive environments.
What You Need
Preferred experience working with children with developmental delays and their families
A degree in a relevant discipline
Registration and/or membership with your relevant professional body
An understanding of, or willingness to learn, evidenced based approaches in developing and implementing early intervention programs with children
Demonstrate an understanding of, or willingness to learn, the principles and practices of a family centred approach
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A strong work ethic with a collaborative team approach
A current driver’s licence and use of own vehicle
NSW Working with Children Check
Current First Aid qualification preferred
